Wind, water and waves- what do they have to do with each other? They are the reason for weathering, deposition and erosion! Ms. Dooley's classes are studying signs of this around the school. Weathering is the breaking down or dissolving of rocks and minerals on the Earth's surface, erosion is the transportation or the movement of the weathered material and deposition is the dropping of off the weathered material.
