Out with the old and in with the NEW! In a joint effort between the high school and junior high visual arts programs, they have a brand new kiln. The kiln will allow our teachers to introduce clay projects into our programs. Future projects will include pottery, coil pots, clay jewelry, sculptures, and hand built pottery. This purchase was made possible through a Claremore Public School Foundation grant. Thank you to the community for investing in CPSF and the CPSF committee for funding this request. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

WIN- What I Need- is a need- based 30 minute class to help students catch up in an area they may need help with, or help them with a higher area of study. Priority days are focused on a specific subject. We didn't have a priority day in WIN this week, so Mr. Berglund chose to go with a game time enrichment. Students were put in groups and timed to get the correct answers! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Why is learning about the thirteen colonies important? Because it created this great United States of America! And is an important part of our history. Mrs. Hammack's 8th grade class built their own colony while learning about the 13 colonies. They learned how school was different, how the houses were built, how important church was, and many other important issues of the 1700s. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
