Native American Club made cornhusk dolls. These dolls have been made by Northeastern Native Americans since the beginning of corn agriculture more than a thousand years ago. Dried cornhusks are soft when soaked in water, finished dolls are sturdy enough for toys.

SORRY KIDS - NO MORE SNOW DAYS
CPS will resume our regular schedule tomorrow, Feb. 7th. The roads are clear, so we will not need to retrofit our new buses to get you there.
Remember, Friday is our collaboration day; all sites will dismiss early, as usual.
#CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Due to the dropping temperatures and re-freezing of melted snow, the road conditions continue to be hazardous, Claremore Public Schools will remain closed Thursday, February 6th. As a result, the Parent/Teacher Conferences scheduled for tomorrow will now be Thursday, February 13th. Your previously scheduled conference time will remain the same unless you contact your child's teacher directly or go to the myconferencetime site to change your time.

Last week our 3rd graders learned about the life of Will Rogers from Mr. Hogan. They were asked to create a diorama portraying part of his life. They will be on display at the Memorial and the public can go in and vote on which one they think is the best.
