These little cuties have been working hard in Mrs. Douthitt‘s class. They have been writing letters and sight words in salt boxes, and practicing their alphabet and writing their names. They also read the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and made their our own trees.

Sue Early, the Instructional Coach from Great Expectations, visited Catalayah today to observe and train teachers. She spent time in seven classrooms, met with each grade level as a group, and discussed her observations over lunch with Mrs. Shuck and Mrs. Basks. We appreciate Sue's time, insights, and dedication to supporting our teachers by answering questions and providing guidance.

Ms. Donya has been working hard and has all devices that have been paid for passed out to students.
If you haven't filled out the paperwork and paid for your students device please do so today. It's and easy 3 step process from your Campus Parent App to get everything completed.
1. fill out the meal benefit application
2. once that has been processed you will need to fill out the device protection plan
3. after those 2 are complete it will show you on your parent app what you need to pay for your childs device. After that is paid- you are done!!!

Mrs. Beasley's class used some teamwork to complete their packets last week.

Mrs. Roller's 1st grade class ended their lesson on labeling this week with learning all about apples. They read about Johnny Appleseed, discovered the parts of an apple, and then made and labeled their own! 🍎

Ms. Hall's 1st grade class practiced their spelling words in shaving cream this morning!!!

Everyday while 1st graders line up in the cafeteria Mrs. M teaches them Spanish. It's so cute. I can't believe how much they have already learned!!

Mrs. James moved back to the classroom after 15 years of being the Librarian. She will be teaching Kindergarten!!!!
Mrs. Ritter has taken over the Library. Mrs. Ritter has been one of our 5th grade teachers for the past 5 years.
