This holiday season, teachers and students at Claremont wanted to give back! Each of our classes adopted 1-2 officers from Claremore Police Department to shower them with their favorite things. On Tuesday, our classes were able to present these to the officers. It was so much fun!

Pre-K students created life-size gingerbread men. They began the project with Mrs. Smith tracing their outline onto a white piece of paper and then were able to decorate their men however they saw fit. We think they turned out awesome!

Pick up schedules will be on Monday and Thursday to manage product quality and help relieve storage issues for our families with multiple students.

My name is Amanda Harrison. I teach 4th grade. I have been in education for 9 years, and all of those have been with CPS. I attended Northeastern State University and received a Bachelors degree. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have two daughters.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I love Claremont because of the teamwork and flexibility and that we always do what's best for our students.
Kindergarten students were able to visit the NEW gym for the first time last week. To say they were excited is an understatement. We are all so excited to be able to use this new space!
Don't Forget! December 17th is RSU Gameday at Claremont! Claremont students will be treated to a classroom watch party and snacks by RSU basketball! A huge thank you to our Partners in Education, RSU and RCB Bank!

Claremore Public Schools will be closed due to inclimate weather tomorrow, Monday, December 14th. This is a SNOW DAY and not a Distance Learning Day.
All activities scheduled for tomorrow are also CANCELLED except for the CPS Board of Education Meeting at 6:00 PM.
Virtual meal distribution scheduled for Monday will be postponed until Tuesday.
We will resume face-to-face classes Tuesday December 15.

Any patron in good standing will be able to download e-materials to their personal computer, smartphone, E-reader or listening device.

My name is Kimberly Ward and I teach 1st Grade. I have been in education for 16 years, and 15 of those have been with CPS. I attended college at NSU and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
I have been married for 21 years. My husband, Justin, is an electrician. I have 2 daughters. Natalie is a freshman at RSU. Kaylee is a Senior at CHS. I am the High School Swim Coach.
I love traveling, playing games, swimming and most importantly spending time with friends and family.
I love Claremont because Claremont is like a family! We always work together to what's best for our students.
Throwback Thursday to the Early Explorers research project that some of our 4th graders did as a part of their WIN time. These students had to research an explorer, plan for a presentation and then got to create their explorer for a visual to use with their presentations. These students did an exceptional job! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
Today, December 10th is National Dewey Decimal Day. If you ask Mrs. Troyer, our Library Media Specialist, the Dewey Decimal System is pretty important. Without it, locating books for students would be quite the task!
