4th graders in Mrs. Harrison's class have soft start mornings on Fridays where they are able to use their creative and critical thinking skills with STEM bins. The STEM bins were provided through the Dept. of Education grant matching through Donors Choose!

Mrs. Goodwin is our school registrar. Not only does Mrs. Goodwin keep student records and data up to date, she also manages all of the financial aspects of our school. Mrs. Goodwin is part of what "keeps the ship afloat" at Claremont, and we are lucky to have her on our team!

Wednesday, October 19th is Unity Day! On Unity Day, join us as we wear Orange for Kindness, Inclusion, and Acceptance and send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying. Together, we can create a world without bullying!

Kindergarten students are having a BLAST in the library with Mrs. Troyer. Lessons always include a read aloud, an action poem, a song (or three), and something new for students to learn.

Mrs. Camber and Mrs. Evans’ Pre-K leaders received praise from Officer Milbourne for their excellent behavior. He was so impressed by both morning and afternoon classes. They promptly do just as their teachers ask. We are so proud of our students!

1st graders in Mrs. Peck's class read Pumpkin Jack then carved a pumpkin of their own. They will then observe the changes that the pumpkin goes through as it decomposes.

5th graders also learned different painting techniques during art class with Ms. Francis!!

5th grade students work together on a library procedure "break out." In a break out, students work in teams to solve puzzles for the keys to unlock the codes. The first team to unlock all three won a prize! This was such a fun way to reinforce library procedures!
