One student from both classes is chosen to sit at the special table and use special supplies for the week! They even get to bring a friend along!

Meet Mrs. Ramsey.
Mrs. Ramsey is our Reading Specialist!
Mrs. Ramsey plans, teaches, and evaluates instruction for students having difficulty with reading or writing. She works with students individually and in small groups to help grow their reading ability and confidence. Mrs. Ramsey truly is a key part in helping our students to succeed!

Pre-K students love to make letters out of playdough! During their classroom center rotations, PK students get to take what they have learned and put it into practice in hands-on ways. They have 'dough' much fun!

2nd grade students were challenged to complete a handwriting packet during the month of September - with the reward of a party at the end of the month for all who completed and turned in their packets! These are just some of the students who got to participate in the Ice Cream Party!

Registration ends Oct. 31 for YBOC basketball AND cheer! Now forming teams for kindergartners!
YBOC is for boys and girls in the K - 8th grade and participates in the Rec and Select Divisions of the Indian Nations Basketball Conference. Participants must attend Claremore Public, Claremore Private, Sequoyah, Foyil, Chelsea, Inola, Justus-Tiawah, or Homeschool.

Have you ever wondered what it was like to ride in a fire truck?!
Two of our students got to learn what it was like after winning "Ride to School in a Fire Truck" at our silent auction held during our Back to School Carnival. As you can see, these girls had a fantastic ride to school!

2022 JOM INDIAN EDUCATION ELECTION
One of the most important components of the JOM program is parent involvement. This October, parents of JOM eligible children will have an opportunity to get involved in developing the JOM program at Claremore Public Schools.
Elections for JOM Indian Education Committee members will be held on October 4, 2022, at the CPS Enrollment Center (102 West 11th) at 6pm.
To serve on the JOM IEC, a person must be the parent or guardian of a JOM verified child. School board members of spouses and school employees or spouses can not serve on the committee.

4th grade students learn how painting can be done with more than just a paintbrush! Mrs. Francis lead students through a guided practice painting with plastic forks, and Mrs. Bear lent a hand!
