Dress up day #3: Red, White & Zebra Day + Homecoming Assembly!📣📣📣 Westside rallied around our high schoolers and cheered them on for Homecoming tomorrow! Students made their own signs and noisemakers. 🦓❤️

Today is School Custodian Appreciation Day! Westside has one of the best, Ms. Alejandra, we are so thankful for you!

Day 3 of HoCo dress up days! 🦓❤️ CAMO day! Whether you can see them or not, these Zebras are rocking their camouflage gear! Wear red, white, or Zebra stripes tomorrow! ❤️🤍🦓

Curious minds in action! 🦋🐍 Students love to explore bugs and nature at recess- learning never stops when curiosity leads the way!

Starting off the Homecoming dress up week strong! 💪 Monday was "wear your favorite college gear" 🏈🏟️

It is recommended to wear your outfit for your school photo, and bring your change of clothes if you will be participating in the dress up day! 😊

Mrs. Peterson's 3rd graders honored 9/11 by reading Sean Rubin's book "This Very Tree" a story about 9/11, resilience and regrowth. They colored the American Flag and created a 3D photo.

Mrs. Whitaker's Pre-K classes had an Apple Fest! 🍎🍏 Students learned about Johnny Appleseed, and learned while using Apple related centers and ate apple flavored snacks!

Students K-5 got to try a Pomegranate & Strawberry smoothie with chia seeds on this months "Try-Day". 🍓🥤

2024-2025 (last year) Westside yearbooks available in the front office. $15 while supplies last.

Kindergarteners in Mrs. Eckerts class learned about the community & the people that work in it. Students were able to visit each station and learn what workers there do. These stations included: a school, construction zone, fire station, police station and a veterinarian office. 🏫🚜👮🚒🐈
