These 3rd graders had an amazing experience as their teacher's sister traveled Paris, France. She FaceTimed the class at the Eiffel Tower and took them all the way to the top. These Westies saw both an incredible view and a huge circle rainbow! She also sent the kids French berets and scarves for the virtual field trip. Students ate croissant sandwiches and had a wonderful time. Thank you to Stacie Gardner for including our Westies in this once in a lifetime experience! 🇫🇷🦓 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

It's always special to have a visit from Jerzy the court dog. Jerzy is an Aussiedoodle who works as Theraputic Court Dog at the Rogers County Courthouse. Our Westies love her sweet calming presence and learning about the work she does. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

First grade students did an amazing job of developing their knowledge of fractions. This is a skill that they will build on throughout their educational journey. You can tell by their sweet smiles that they're pretty "partial" to these activities. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Throw back to Ms. Palmer's class reviewing types of lines in math. Each student was given a paper with a set of lines on them. The goal was to disguise the lines by incorporating them into a drawing. What a memorable way to study line types! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Westside is looking forward to a new musical chapter next year with a steel drum band! Mrs. Gaylord was awarded this amazing grant. It is opening up so many opportunities for our students for different cultures, collaborative performances, and awesome genres of music! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is now open! All families must complete enrollment every year. Enrollment may be completed entirely online, and we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer to enroll. If you do not have access to a computer, or if you need enrollment assistance, the CPS Enrollment Center has computers and scanners available and will be happy to help. They are open daily from 8a - 4p (arrive by 3:30p). You are now able to enroll your current students for the 2023-2024 school year by accessing the student records portal through this link https://ok.wengage.com/claremore. Please watch the video instructions or follow the written instructions to update the necessary information and complete the 2024 school year enrollment. This applies to current and new students. Westside is so proud and impressed by these incredible Running Club achievements! All of Coach Faulconer's runners pushed themselves to reach their goals. These driven individuals not only devoted themselves to competing during club hours, but also signed up for 5k runs and other events. We'd like to thank Coach Faulconer for establishing this club at Westside. She has many past runners now competing at Claremore High School. Our top runners, Finley and Mateo Buoy, will be recognized on the Running Club plaque alongside top runners of prior years. Congratulations, we are so proud!
