Students learning how to make real- life connections is an important part of learning. For their end of the year project, Mrs. Bacon's class reviewed 2nd - person point of views, sequences of events, and making real life connections- by making pizzas!

For an end of the school year project, Mrs. Roach combined everything she loved into one piece. The 80s, print making, painting, drawing, and sculpture. This truly is a multimedia piece.
We definitely have some future ARTISTS in our school!

It was SUMMER OLYMPICS at WRJH!
The 8th grade classes had an Olympics Day. There were races, games, contests, snow cones, and the DUNK tank! Thanks to our fearless teachers and principals for braving the DUNKS! We had a great day!☀

Over 140 1st - 6th graders were building skills, a love of the sport, and the Zebra legacy on historic Lantow Field this week. Players participated in non-contact drills, made friends, and made memories they will carry with them through high school when they complete their final walk across a stage on that very same field.

The finals for art class included students doing a Modigliani self portrait. They have done some amazing art projects this year!

RACING FOR FINALS!
Mrs. Hulse's classes had a review relay race to get ready for finals! The students have to race to the question masters, answer a question correctly, and then run back to tag a teammate to go next!

Parents- wondering why your student needed Oreos in Mrs. Tietz's Science class? Well, we have the explanation! They were not for parties, snacks or dipping in our milk cartons! They were learning about the phases of the moon. Have you ever thought the moon resembled an Oreo? Now you just might!

We were the FASTEST... 🚤
Mr. Isenbart's classes made BOATS! They started by making models, determining the weight each could hold and how they could sustain being in the water. Once the boats were made, they took them to the Oologah/Talala pool and raced them with other boats. One of our boats was the fastest, and one was the first to SINK!

JROTC visited our 7th graders at WRJH. They talked about what they do, who they are, and how to join. What a great assembly! Thanks, JROTC!

Once testing was finished, students in Mrs. Lohmann's class learned to play BUNCO! It was a nice end to a hectic week of state tests!

Our ROBOTICS team went to WORLDS in Dallas! They had a great time, learned a lot about robots, teamwork and patience and are ready to do it again!
Oh, and they won the SPORTSMANSHIP award! 🏆
