✨NEW TEACHER FEATURE✨ My name is Bradi Hulse. I teach 6th grade English at WRJH. I went to Sequoyah High School where I graduated with the class of 2014. After high school, I went to Pittsburg State University. Before coming to WRJH, I was a 1st grade teacher at Verdigris. I've been married for almost three years and we have a one year old little boy named Bennett. Students in Mrs. Naegele’s classes engaged in a paper folding activity to discover the inverse relationship of division and multiplication when dividing fractions. As a check for understanding, students created stop motion videos to teach others how to fold a 1/12 fraction strip and explained the relationship of multiplication and division when calculating fraction division. Students collaboratively wrote directions, developed scripts, produced props, filmed, calculated just right time ratios and voiced over their movies before their movie premieres. Such a great use of STEM! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

We made the news!🎥 Mrs. Rahn's STEM class learned about the four forces of flight by building foam rockets with different sized fins to demonstrate different variables of drag. They collected data through several trials to make a claim on fin size and drag based on the evidence from their data. They had special guests from Osage Sky News 6 pilot Dustin Stone & Matt Rahn! How do you teach students about History? By doing a class play! In Mr. Dexter's class students are learning about the Supreme Court case that established Judicial Review, Marbury V. Madison. To get a better understanding of the case, students participated in a class play going over the court case. Students played the roles of Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, James Madison, and William Marbury. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

✨NEW TEACHER FEATURE✨ My name is Sydney Phariss. I teach 7th grade Math at WRJH. I graduated from Claremore High School, then went to Oklahoma City University. Before coming to WRJH I taught at Edmond Public Schools. In my spare time, I love spending time with my Mamaw. I also love watching reruns of Gilmore Girls. I have two cats, Butter and Ruth. Claremore has always been home for me. I am so excited to be a Zebra again, there is nothing like it. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

With it being so close to Valentines Day, Mr. Dexter decided to make romantic comedy posters to review their concepts from Chapter 8. Students choose a concept from Chapter 8 to "remake" a romantic movie title! One was about the Jefferson and Adams split and made a poster called "When Jefferson Met Adams"! Mrs. Brunjes-Hall's Art class are having "jewelry week". They are making their own jewelry and learning about the different types of jewelry. What great designs! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Expectation # 5- "We will help each other whenever possible." WRJH students, Ben Greenland and Kevin Raines, demonstrate the life principles of service and dependability. They have helped Ms. Tonya clean the tables and sweep the floors after breakfast every morning this year. Our WRJH Robotics Team did it again... At last week's Robotics tournament, we won the Design Award, the Tournament Champion Award, and all four Robotics teams qualified for STATE! WoW! Way to go, Robotics and Mr. Isenbart! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
