Do you know what a Ukranian Easter egg is? Mrs. Brunjes- Hall's art class can tell you! A pysanka is a Polish-Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with traditional folk designs using a wax-resist method. Instead of wax, the students used plaster! The dyes used to decorate pysanky also have symbolic meanings. Red is the sun or life or joy. As you can see, this egg has lots of red! What an interesting lesson! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
