🌟SCHOOL COUNSELOR WEEK🌟
Meet Mrs. Lacy Hall. This is Mrs. Hall's first year at WRJH. Before becoming a ZEBRA, Mrs. Hall was a counselor at Owasso Public Schools.
"To be a school counselor means that I'm able to be a refuge and safe space for children in need. I want students to know that when they are in my office they are in a judgement free place where they can be honest and feel loved."
We are so happy Mrs. Hall joined our team! Welcome to Will Rogers Junior High!

What a fun mess!
In Mr. Gregg's class this week, they are building volcanoes to wrap up their lesson on Plate Tectonics. The students were able to erupt their volcanoes multiple times, each time adding a layer of 'lava' where it erupted.

✨WRJH NEW TEACHER FEATURE✨
My name is Lori Roach. I teach 7th and 8th grade Art at Will Rogers Junior High. I graduated from Texico High School in New Mexico in 1995, then went on to Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I have been a wedding coordinator, a youth pastor, a dental assistant, and a stay-at-home mom! In my spare time, I I love to create! Crochet, painting, all the crafts! But my biggest obsession is interior design.
I’ve been married to my best friend, James, for 20 years. Together we’ve raised five amazing kids ages 19-13.
I love CPS because of the students! They are some of the most creative and gifted I’ve ever taught.

Ain't No Party Like A CPSF Party!!!
The 2022 Gatsby Brainiac Brawl wouldn't have been a huge success without the hard work of the CPSF Board of Trustees. We are so thankful for this group of volunteers that share their talents and treasures to fulfill the mission of enriching the quality of education in the Claremore Public Schools.

Who survived? The predators or the prey?
In Mrs. Hammack's class this week, students learned about relationships between predators and their prey. The black beads represent prey for the colored beads. Each student had a radius that the predators could “hunt” in.
