They have helped Ms. Tonya clean the tables and sweep the floors after breakfast every morning this year. Mrs. Brunjes-Hall's Art class are having "jewelry week". They are making their own jewelry and learning about the different types of jewelry. What great designs! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Who's ready for a RELAY race? Students in Mrs. Mercer's class had a "relay" race to practice writing good claims. They are learning about Argumentative writing and how to identify good claims when given sentences! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our WRJH Robotics Team did it again... At last week's Robotics tournament, we won the Design Award, the Tournament Champion Award, and all four Robotics teams qualified for STATE! WoW! Way to go, Robotics and Mr. Isenbart! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

For Black History Month, Mrs. Brunjes-Hall's Art students painted portraits of prominent black artists inspired by the art quilts of Bisa Butler. Mrs. Butler's work can be viewed at www.busabutler.com. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

We may be a little late with this post, but had to share! Mrs. Shilling's students celebrated the “Month of Santa Paws” and this year’s Current Events students wanted to continue the celebration that last year's students began. They organized and celebrated with a gift exchange of pet related items that were donated to the Claremore Animal Shelter. What a GREAT service these students are doing! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Students in Current Events class took psychologist Taylor Hartman’s Color Code personality assessment. Students made hypothesis of our principals personalities and asked them to take the test to see the results. They celebrated everybody’s differences by marbling paper in the proper personality color ratios. To inform the principals, they marbled paper for them and presented them with crazy gifts! What a fun activity! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Another #PublicSchoolProud teacher, Mrs. Bacon, wanted to let her fellow teacher (and friend) know how much she is valued. Here's some of what she wrote: "You are one of the most valuable teachers in our building! You are so smart about the foundations of Reading, interventions, GE, and SO many more things. You are so professional, and a perfect example of a person who has a passion for learning, love of school and sports, and a firm advocate of consistency... the list could go on. We (me) would not want do this job without you. I am so proud of you, so proud to teach with you, and so thankful that you are a true transparent friend." Thanks for sharing, Mrs. Bacon. During this #PublicSchoolProud week we are sharing how much teachers value each other and their teaching abilities. Ms. Phariss wanted Mrs. Stout to know she values her "Pod Partner" not only as a teacher, but as a friend, too. Here's a little of what she wrote: "Thank you so much for all you do for your school. The way you care for your students is so evident! The students feel safe around you, which allows them to learn more. Thank you for all you are doing for your students and your fellow teachers. Last week in Mrs. Roach‘s art class, they were studying contemporary artists who draw stylized hearts. They came up with some exciting compositions just in time for Valentine’s Day! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
