Today, we celebrated the joy of storytelling with special moments shared between staff and their own children, as well as read-alouds in classrooms across our school!
Reading aloud brings stories to life, builds connections, and inspires a love for books. Seeing our Catalayah family—both at home and in the classroom—sharing the magic of reading is what today is all about!

How Sick Is Too Sick For School?
Tis the season in Oklahoma - sniffling, sneezing, coughing, headache, fever, tummy aches, nausea, etc.
We miss our students when absent, but sometimes they need to recover at home; how do you make that decision? CPS encourages following the Oklahoma State Department of Health guidelines. These guidelines will help the child recover and protect against the spread of illnesses to other students and staff.
Remember, students/staff should only return to school after being fever-free, vomiting or diarrhea-free for 24 hours without medication.

The 100th Day of School is probably one of our favorite holidays!! 😂
We dress up, do projects with 100 items, sort, count, stack 100 cups, write about when we are 100, write about if we had 100 dollars and have special treats and snacks. It really should be a holiday.

Every Wednesday, 1st and 2nd grade WIN groups join Mrs. Griffin for Writing Wednesdays! Together, they practice forming complete sentences, building strong writing skills, and working on their best handwriting.
These young writers are making big strides each week, and we love seeing their creativity and confidence grow! Keep up the great work, friends!
