Claremore Public Schools is pleased to announce that CPD has completed its search and has been given the all-clear to resume normal activities. Although there will be no classes this afternoon, CHS athletic practices, games, and the senior awards assembly will proceed as scheduled later today. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority at Claremore Public Schools. We work closely and continuously with local emergency officials to ensure we are always prepared for emergencies. We are grateful to the Claremore Police Department, Claremore Fire Department, and other first responders for their help in ensuring our safety today.

We loved celebrating our cafeteria staff today. They are simply amazing and we love them all. It was fun watching them walk down the red carpet at Rise and Shine. I hate that Christy missed out on the fun but we appreciate her too!!

STEM club yesterday. They built Rotor Motors to discuss how helicopters work. They changed the balance, weight and design to see how it affected the ability for it to fall. They also compared them to helicopter plant seeds to see how they also work the same way. The students then had to go up to another teacher that was still at the school and explain how they worked and demonstrated it for them.
