We had some visitors this morning!!!
Some of the High School Baseball players came to greet our students and staff as they came to school this morning!!
Not only that but they also joined us in some dances at Rise and Shine.
It was so nice to see some of our old students and to have them here in the building with us!!!

Tuesday Oct 25th, we celebrated Red Ribbon Week by wearing Crazy Socks or Green!!

Mrs. Newman's class working on digging out the "guts" of the pumpkin last week. They separated the seeds from the "guts" so Mrs. Newman can bake them.

Our 1st grade friends did a science experiment last week. Check it out!!
Friday we learned about the scientific method!
1. We made observations about candy corn using our 5 senses.
2. Then we asked the question, “What will happen to the candy corn if we put it in hot water, cold water, and vinegar?”
3. We each made a hypothesis.
4. Then we conducted the experiment and watched what happened to each piece of candy.
5. We decided if our hypothesis was correct and drew the conclusion that the candy corn dissolved because it was mostly made of sugar.
