Mr. D lead this ukulele group in their performance this morning!!! These kids have been giving up some of their elective time the past few weeks to learn how to play the ukulele!!

Mrs. Castle's class is Learning about 3D shapes: edges, faces, & vertices by building our own using tooth picks to represent the edges & marshmallows to represent vertices. The open spaces are our faces. 🙂🙃🙂

They planted sunflowers for everyone to enjoy out by our gazebo!!!! How cool!! Can you imagine how pretty that is going to be when they start growing.
After working so hard outside for us they came back in a wrote about it!!

IT'S INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT DAY!!!
An instructional assistant supports the primary teacher in a classroom. As an instructional assistant, you work with students to help them understand the lesson taught by the teacher. You also help supervise students and organize the learning materials. Other job duties may include grading papers, preparing supplies for the lesson plan, and straightening up the classroom. Teachers rely on instructional assistants to manage the students and keep them focused, especially in large classes. Seriously, the list goes on and on.
Catalayah could NOT run without our Instructional Assistants. They are so important to our students and staff. Their schedules might change at the drop of a hat and we are lucky to have people that just roll with the flow.
If you see these people around today make sure you tell them how much you appreciate them!!!

Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is now open!
All families must complete enrollment every year. Enrollment may be completed entirely online, and we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer to enroll. If you do not have access to a computer, or if you need enrollment assistance, the CPS Enrollment Center has computers and scanners available and will be happy to help. They are open daily from 8a - 4p (arrive by 3:30p).
You are now able to enroll your current students for the 2023-2024 school year by accessing the student records portal through this link https://ok.wengage.com/claremore.
Please watch the video instructions or follow the written instructions to update the necessary information and complete the 2024 school year enrollment. This applies to current and new students.
