Saturdays are for Art Projects- This week, let's try something new. Print with kitchen items. Using tempera paint, pour some paint on a paper plate or cookie tray. Pick some kitchen items to print with: cookie cutters, corks, spaghetti, mallets, etc. You can even paint a baking sheet to serve cookies on.

Saturdays are great days to try a new Art Project. Here is one you can do for fun! Create a nature collage. Spend some time outside collecting small nature items: sticks, petals, leaves, feathers, etc. Glue or stick on paper. You can also place a piece of sticky contact paper in a frame, sticky side up. Then place items on the sticky side. It is a perfect time to pick some wild flowers and make a picture!

Let's try an At Home Science experiment-Magnetic Cereal
Steps: Crush up a cereal like Cheerios or Special K and use a magnet to attract the iron in the cereal. This experiment teaches about magnetic properties, and also how Iron is included in foods like cereal to help us maintain healthy blood.
The Rain is gone and the Sun is out! Come on Roosa students and families... It is a perfect time to get outside and play!
