How Sick Is Too Sick For School?
Tis the season in Oklahoma - sniffling, sneezing, coughing, headache, fever, tummy aches, nausea, etc.
We miss our students when absent, but sometimes they need to recover at home; how do you make that decision? CPS encourages following the Oklahoma State Department of Health guidelines. These guidelines will help the child recover and protect against the spread of illnesses to other students and staff.
Remember, students/staff should only return to school after being fever-free, vomiting or diarrhea-free for 24 hours without medication.

In PE this week, the objective is to engage in jump rope activities. Today, the students participated in a game called "Jump the River." They had to jump over two jump ropes that were placed apart from each other, hoping to make it over the "river" without getting eaten by alligators.

The Roosa family has experienced a significant loss with the passing of student Brian Page. Brian was one of the most well-known students in our Roosa community, recognized for his daily "joke of the day" and his incredibly infectious smile.
Students who wish to attend his memorial service will have their absences excused, and they will not be counted against them.
The details for Brian Wayne Page's funeral services are as follows:
- **Viewing:** Monday, 4-6 PM at Payne Funeral Home, Claremore
- **Funeral:** Tuesday, 1 PM at Cedar Point Church, Claremore
On Tuesday, we encourage all staff and students to wear "Blue for Brian." Blue was one of Brian's favorite colors and is also the color associated with AMC awareness.
