October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. 🎗🎗🎗
Recently, on National Spread Joy Day, Mrs. Ramsey's 5th grade class presented at Rise & Shine and some of her students came up with the idea to give gifts to the breast cancer survivors on staff at Westside for the battle that they fought and WON! 💪💪

This event helps support small businesses in our community and all of the booth fees go directly back to our Westside students. 🦓

Our fall fundraiser has wrapped up and our top earners got to pie our principals in the face! 5th grader, Sophia, and 2nd grader Xavier were Westside's top sellers! 🥧 💪
Students went wild and cheered these two on during rise and shine and our principals took one for the team! ✨ 👏🏻

Students have started Typing Club in computers with Mrs. James! ⌨ 💻
Typing Club is a learning application where students learn to type and become pros. Stars are earned from completing levels and improving! ⭐

The Claremore Indian Education Committee(IEC) wil be having a special meeting on Tuesday October 8th ,2024 from 5:45-6:30 p.m. at the Enrollment Center located at 101 West 11th. The meeting will be held for the purpose of holding the JOM Annual Election.
To serve on the JOM IEC, a person must be the parent or guardian of a JOM verified child. School board members or spouses, school administrators or spouses and school employees or spouses cannot serve on the committee.
Any parent, community member, or others interested may attend the meeting


Fall 2024 Book Fair is right around the corner! 📚📖
The book fair is October 9th through 16th, and will be available during both Parent Teacher Conferences. Students will be able to go throughout the day with their teachers approval.


It’s Game Day & Westside loves our big Zebras.
But, we have to celebrate two amazing & former Westside students, Andrew & Tripp. 💪🏽🏈❤️🦓
These guys made a visit to our library and spent time reading to our kindergarten students. These guys are not only leaders on the field, they are leaders in action taking time for our kids. These moments….they matter & make a big difference!
