🏫 Good attendance = better academic performance 🏫 Westside will be doing quarterly drawings again for the 2025-2026 school year! Students with 2 or less unexcused absences will be placed in a drawing for a Quick Trip gift card.

As a reminder for tomorrow's first day, the No Cell Bell to Bell law will be in effect when the first bell rings.

Earlier this year, the Oklahoma Legislature passed a new law requiring all public schools to become “cell phone-free zones” during school hours. In compliance, the Claremore Public Schools Board of Education has officially adopted a local policy to guide implementation across the district.

📕 What are you reading Wednesday 📕 Another Wednesday, another book! Pete the Cat books are a favorite amongst our younger students, they love to see what Pete is getting into. What is your current read? 📕 📚

Kindergartners did a "ABC countdown to summer" and the letter U was "under-the-desk" day. Students learned about Michael Angelo and how he painted a ceiling by laying down, and then they got to make their own masterpieces the same way! 🖼️ 🎨

It's Thursday, and you know what that means! Throwback time! This week is featuring Mrs. James helping a student with her marble run. This STEM activity is a favorite amongst our Westies.

In April, we had 2 students from Westside compete in the Junior Master Chef Challenge. Upcoming 2nd grader, Alex Hibbard competed with his recipe "green stuff". I see a future chef in the making! 👨‍🍳

Throwback Thursday featuring future 3rd graders! Mrs. Collins Class worked hard all year on their Math timed tests. 1 student completed all the addition/subtraction, 2 students made it to multiplication and 1 student completed all the timed multiplication timed tests! 💪 Way to go mathematicians! ➕➖✖️
