As our school counselor, Mrs. Lyons wears many hats. She provides a safe space for students that need it, resources to families that might be going through trials & is always looking out for the well being of our students. Westside's staff member of the month for January was announced this morning! Give a huge congratulations to Mrs. Brito (not to be confused with burrito) but you can call her that too! From pre-k to 5th grade, students all over the school love Mrs. Brito for her kind and warm spirit. She's always there to lend a hand or just to chat.

Plant Life Cycle 🌱🌱
Ms. Taber's 4th grade class each planted a lima bean seed in a damp paper towel/bag and hung them on the window for the sun to help them germinate. Her class learned about the life cycle of a plant and get to see it grow firsthand!
Its National Paraprofessional Day and Westside has some of the best ones! This group plays such a huge role in our school. From supporting teachers in the classroom to providing one-on-one help, they fill the gaps that make learning more accessible for everyone! 🌟💪❤🦓
