Mrs. T's GT students have been working on an Oregon Trail unit. They've been listening to a factionalized diary of a little girl named Hattie, who made the trip with her family in 1847. They're incorporating games into their lesson that are based on the Oregon Trail.

Mrs. Mcgill & her 5th graders used visual writing prompts to write their interpretation. ✍️ The students can read the interpretations anonymously and vote which one they prefer. Students utilize creativity, writing, voting & teamwork - let’s go 5th grade!

"Hearts Around the World" 🌎 Mrs. Barbee’s kindergarten class has been doing an international letter exchange! 💌 They sent cards all across the country, & with help from fellow staff members, her class has received letters from many states in the US to England & China!
