Our students from the WRJH Native American Club had an amazing time attending the Indigenous Day Parade!
They were treated to a variety of cultural presentations, mesmerizing dances, and a parade that honored the rich heritage and traditions of Indigenous peoples. 💃🕺

Mrs. Boyd's science classes are wrapping up their heat transfer lesson by cooking s'mores in the solar ovens they designed. Students applied their knowledge of thermal energy to construct efficient ovens. They'll gather data, create graphs, and analyze the results. And have a yummy snack afterward!

🏈PLAYER OF THE WEEK🏈
Our 7th grade players of the week are Christian Lona on defense and Kade Shuey on offense.
Christian was around many tackles on the defensive side all game. He also had a forced fumble that the Zebras recovered in the red zone. Christian has shown improvement every week on the defensive side.
Kade has shown great leadership growth throughout this year. It was displayed last night with making sure all positions on offense were lined up correctly. He puts the team above himself and is willing to play any position that will benefit the team.
Devin Kinnard and Ryder Green are our 8th grade players of the week! Devin on offense was unstoppable, he had over 150 yards of offense and an interception on defense. He also returns kicks for the zebras and is electric doing it on both punts and kick returns. Ryder Green is the defensive player of the week and against Pryor wherever the ball was Ryder Green was there! He made countless tackles and a few for loss, he also caused a turnover. With their efforts the Zebras beat the Tigers 25-6 and improve to 6-1 on the season.

Our WRJH Cross Country season is coming to an end, but what a great season it's been! We're proud of all our athletes who trained hard, pushed their limits, and achieved personal bests throughout the season. And a special congrats to Maddox Trevathan who placed 6th overall at our conference meet last week. He ran his two mile in 12:32.52. He was the only 7th grader in the top 10 to place! Player of the week for 7th Grade Football is Boston Cape. Boston did a great job at the outside linebacker position throughout all 4 quarters. He led the team in tackles and had numerous chase down tackles that exemplify his heart and effort for the game of football.
Player of the week for 8th grade is Carson Young . He is an ultimate teammate for the Zebras and can fill in at most roles of fullback, outside linebacker, inside linebacker, punter, and holder for kicks. His efforts this week has earned him 8th grade player of the week.

Unveiling the beauty of Earth's climates, one brochure at a time! 🌏 Mr. Wadsworth's classes explored the 6 major climate zones – Polar, Temperate, Tropical, Highland, Continental, and Dry – through creative and informative brochures.
Each brochure featured a cover page, information on average temperatures, activities, native animals, and essential packing tips for adventurers 🌡️🏞️🌴. The back was filled with logos and websites designed by our talented students.
