Mr. Borntreger's 7th grade math classes got to do an experiment that compares experimental versus theoretical probability...with dice! Students used their understanding of theoretical probability to predict how many of each number would in theory be rolled and compared their estimations with the actual results...experimental probability.
Being able to make informed predictions and analyze the similarities and differences from the results helps everyone to make decisions and conclusions based on what actually happens versus what is expected.

Going Above and Beyond! 💙
Our School Resource Officer, Officer Holmes, never stops at just the expected duties. Today, he visited our math classes to show students how the coordinate plane is used in the real world — using an actual map!

His hands-on demonstration made learning come alive and helped our students see how math plays an important role in everyday problem-solving.

We’re so grateful for Officer Holmes and all he does to support our school!

A message from the WRJH Athletic Director regarding SOCCER TRYOUTS:

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your patience as we work through the tryout process. We understand the frustration and appreciate your understanding. Due to scheduling challenges, we coordinated with the high school coaches, who have generously agreed to help and to hold tryouts on the only available evening without conflicts.

Tryouts will now be held on Wednesday the 17th at 5:00 PM.

All other team selection procedures remain the same. Attendance is required to be considered for the team. Additional questions will be addressed at a parent meeting after teams are finalized.

Thank you again for your flexibility and support.

ZEBRAS CAUGHT DOING GOOD THINGS!🦓

Something awesome is happening at WRJH! When one of our Zebras is caught doing something kind, helpful, or just plain amazing, their name goes into a special drawing.

Each month, one student from each grade level is drawn and gets lunch with Mrs. Bopp! 🍕

We love seeing our students making good choices and spreading positivity. Keep up the great work, Zebras — you never know when you might get “caught” next!
