Our 1st grade friends hung up their Kindness Santas!!! What a cute idea! At the end of each day if they complete their kindness challenge for the day then they get to trim his beard. I know our 1st graders will do amazing at this challenge!!! #makesantabald #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

I just thought I was done with the Thanksgiving posts, but I just couldn't pass up these cute pictures. Mrs. Douthitt's class enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving feast together, Charlie Brown style!!! It's JA Biztown time for our 5th graders!! Our students running for Mayor gave their speeches the other day. They all did such a great job!! Biztown is so much fun. Ask your 5th graders about it. They are learning to write checks and do several different jobs. They will be finding out what jobs they have soon! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our sweet little kindergartners are learning how to type!!!! This is usually such a for foreign skill for the little ones. They are pros at their ipad and soon will be pros at the computers too!! Look at how proud they are! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Roller's 1st grade class enjoyed their fun hands on activity. They got to move around the classroom and hunt for adjectives to add to their list. They also had to decide if the math facts they found on their hunt were true or false. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

It's almost Thanksgiving, that means its time to disguise our Turkeys so they don't get eaten!!!! Mrs. Cole's classes and some kindergarten classes have done such a great job!!! This is one of my favorite projects they do. I love seeing the creativity!!! I think its safe to say these Turkeys won't be getting eaten this year!! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Lewis and her 1st grade class made these adorable reminders to pray for our Veterans!! They passed out these reminders to all staff members! What a sweet reminder! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

FRIDAYS WITH FRAZIER Congratulations to our eight Site Teacher of the Year recipients. Their colleagues chose them to represent their site for consideration for the 2021-2022 Claremore Public Schools Teacher of the Year, announced later this month. Over the next several months, each teacher will create a dossier including a personal biography and essays on education issues and trends, community involvement, philosophy of teaching, and the teaching profession. A committee will review these documents, a lesson video and host an interview with each candidate. Stay tuned to learn more about each of these fantastic teachers and why their peers choose them to represent their school.
