To celebrate National School Psychology Week (last week), throughout the day today, we highlight our school psychologists and the critical work they do to help our students and staff thrive and discover “The Power of Possibility.”
Possibility, chance, likelihood, probability - all things that inspire hope, expectation, desire. With their training, tools, and techniques, these staff members empower and equip our Zebra family to not only aspire to succeed but take action steps to accomplish those dreams.

Making turkeys at home, boring... Not on Distance Learning Friday! Look what the students at Roosa Elementary did on their Virtual Friday in Art class! This Distance Learning lesson for Art was based on the book "The Very Stuffed Turkey" by Katharine Kenah and illustrated by Binny Talib. The lesson was to create a one of a kind turkey based on the message in the book that not every member of a family looks the same. The students were asked to create their one of a kind turkey by drawing, painting, sculpting, using collage or any mixed media they had around their house. They were super creative and used supplies found both inside and outside. Turkeys shown were created by Isaac Higgins, Asher Spahr, Lilly Weeks and Adalynn Gilbert-Davis #ARTISFUN #DISTANCELEARNINGFRIDAY #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

There is nothing like homemade cinnamon rolls to give a person that feeling of soothing comfort - a big, warm, gooey, frosting dripping down, center of the cinnamon roll. None of the out-of-a-can or plain powdered sugar on top type but a fresh, warm, dough rolled by hand cinnamon roll to wrap you up and communicate appreciation from the sender to the receiver.
Well, that is just what the Claremore CCTA did for ALL the teachers and staff, district-wide. A small but warm gesture to say, "We see you and all you are doing. We support you. We appreciate you." Our teachers' tummies and hearts were fuller this week. Thank you!
