Zebra Family, The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Please be assured that CPS is closely monitoring the weather forecast. All sites have reviewed our safety protocols.
We understand that parents/guardians may want to pick up their children through the proper channels. If you choose to do so, this will be an excused absence.
However, we do not want to send children home without supervision; therefore, our buses will not run early. If the weather changes and we must delay the buses, we will notify you as soon as possible through the CPS Mobile App and the Stopfinder App.
Citizens of Roosa will be voting on Tuesday in the Roosa Election. Voting booths will be located inside the library. After students cast their votes, they will receive a "Future Voter" sticker to wear proudly. The options for voting are Sweet Treats or Salty Treats. Students have been learning about the importance of civic engagement and the fundamental right to vote. Students will receive a special treat on Wednesday morning to celebrate doing their civic duty.

It's a Good Thing Animal Control was on the scene today. There were some wild animals around Roosa: Rabbits, Rats, Dogs, Cats, Foxes, Raccoons, Skunks, Deer, Giraffes, and even an Alligator.
