The Rogers County Farm Bureau had a coloring contest and over 12,000 kids and eight schools entered. Ashley Hoskins from the Rogers County Farm Bureau stopped by Roosa Elementary to award Roosa student Eva Rodriguez as the 4th place winner! Mrs. Mann’s 2nd grade class worked on The four main stages of the water cycle. Evaporation, condensation, precipitation and runoff were all discussed. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

A 5th grade WIN group blasted off to space with a research project! The students took on their missions seriously and conducted research to determine the distance from the sun, period of rotation and revolution, diameter, density, surface temperature and surface gravity. The findings of their missions helped them determine if life could actually exist elsewhere. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Times flies when you’re having fun in Mrs. Mann's 2nd grade class!! Each student created a watch and set a time!! Then walked around reading each other’s watches!!! 2nd grade just keeping track of time! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Daniel’s 5th grade class got caught reading the book Wonder by RJ Palacio. Reading helps students to make sense of not only the world around them but also people in the book. Wonder is a novel about a 5th grade boy that teaches the importance of kindness, tolerance and acceptance. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

The Oklahoma Caring Van will provide FREE immunizations for children at the Claremore enrollment center March 21st & 23rd from 10a - 12p. A parent/guardian must complete the required paperwork. Services will be provided to children who are uninsured, Medicaid eligible, or American Indian. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
