Roosa Family Thanksgiving Lunch is coming up quickly. Thanksgiving lunch will be served, Friday, November 21st. If you plan to join your student, please Pre-Pay in the office as soon as possible. WIN time is an excellent opportunity for enrichment activities, reviewing known skills, and practicing what we are learning in class. In third grade, students practiced rounding numbers to the nearest tens and hundreds using a clothesline method for their math exercises.

It is the last 2 days of the Book Fair! We are open today from 9 am to 2 pm, and on Tuesday, we are open from 9 am to 6:45 pm. We have a restock arriving today, which means our shelves will be fully stocked! We have books written in Spanish, we have Bad Guys books, we have Babysitters Club books, and we have plush board books. Come shop the Book Fair and help out our Roosa Library!

Nurse Bree is teaching a lesson on germs and handwashing today. She brought in a super cool germ kit that simulated how to detect germs on your hand using power and a black light. The light showed the "germs" that she spread from her hands onto the kids, whom she had high-fived. Then the students compared germ residue on hands after a light hand wash, medium hand wash, and a really deep hand wash. What a fantastic lesson!
