Richard "Rick" Mosier, Vice President, has been a part of the Zebra family for 50 years.  After graduating from CHS, Mr. Mosier earned his BS in Agriculture from Oklahoma State University and Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa.  

Mr. Mosier began his service to his alma mater as a CPS Board of Education member for Ward 1 in August 2002. He has continued to be reelected each term, serving in every position over the years.

President of Robson Properties since 2002, Mosier is actively involved in the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce and is the J.M. Davis Memorial Commission's Chair.   

Mosier became a Zebra when he came to Claremore to become a Will Rogers Junior High student and graduated a CHS Zebra in 1976.

Chelsea Mize

Chelsea Mize began serving her alma mater in January 2021 and was sworn into office for a five-year term.

Chelsea, born and raised a Zebra, graduated from CHS in 2003. She is the third generation to graduate from CHS, preceded by her father and grandfather; she looks forward to her children being the fourth generation of Zebras. She continued her post-secondary education at NSU, earning a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Mize owns The Cranberry Merchant and Cranberry Estate Sales. She has volunteered with the Green Country Chrysalis Board of Directors and is currently on the Claremore Main Street Board.

She is married to Matt Mize and has two children: Titus and Rosie.  They are both CPS students.

Lindsey Baldwin

Lindsey Baldwin was appointed to fill the Ward 3 seat in 2022 and then was elected in March 2023 and will complete a five-year term. 

Lindsey has been a Zebra mom since 2018. She began serving as a CPS Board of Education member for Ward 3 in August of 2022. 

Baldwin graduated from Union High School in 2003 but moved to Claremore in 2013. After graduating, she has her associate's degree in business administration through TCC and NSU. She currently works as the Firm Administrator at a tax and accounting firm.

She married Kellen in 2010 and has two little Zebras, Hudson and Riley, who attend Claremore Public Schools.

Baldwin is also a member of the Seminole Nation and has been active in Junior Ocieleta.

Patrick Gotcher

Patrick Gotcher has been a part of the Zebra family since 1990; hired by Dr. Bill Salwachter right out of college as a teacher/coach, sharing responsibilities at Roosa and Claremont Elementary as a PE teacher.  Over the next ten years, he moved up the ranks to Principal when he resigned in 2001.  Eight years after changing careers, Gotcher began his service on the CPS Board of Education and is in his third term. He has served as Member, Clerk and now holds the position of President.

In 2001, Gotcher moved into pharmaceutical sales. He continues to be actively involved in Zebra Sports Foundation, and if you’ve been to a game under the Friday night lights on Lantow Field, it’s Gotcher who is the voice of Zebra football you hear over the intercom. 

He’s been married to Cheri for 34 years. His sons Spencer, Jordan, and Christian will all graduate from CHS.

Shane Huey

WARD 5

Shane Huey was appointed to fill the Ward 5 seat in 2020 and then ran unopposed in 2021 and will complete a five-year term.   

After graduating from Barnsdall High School in 1991, he attended Northeastern State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. He is a CI Engineer at Reading Truck Body. 

He became a Zebra in 1995 after he and his wife, Amanda, chose to move to Claremore and make a home on the same street she had lived growing up.  His wife grew up a Zebra, and now they have two Zebra daughters. Shaylee, who is a current CPS student, plays softball. Samantha was part of the Claremore High School State Championship dance team and is now a Zebra alum.
