"I'd tell my freshman self to get involved early. I missed out on so much by not attending CPS my freshman year."

đź”´ Through my journey to becoming a salutatorian,
"That putting in the effort to do hard things pays off in the end."

đź”´ What are you most proud of in your high school career?
"I am most proud of how my high school career has provided me with access to college and that I am going without paying for tuition."

đź”´ What were the hardest challenges you overcame to achieve this honor?
"The hardest challenge I had to overcome was coming into the game late. I went to a small school before and didn't have access to AP or honors courses."

đź”´ What does this accomplishment mean to you?
"This accomplishment means a lot to me, as it represents the dedication and hard work I’ve invested in my academics over the past four years."

đź”´ Looking back on your school experience at CPS, what does being a Zebra mean to you?
"Being a Zebra means being a part of a school that has allowed me to meet people I will carry with me for the rest of my life. It means memories, school spirit, and something more than just an education."

đź”´ What elementary staff member impacted your life most, and how?
"The Elementary staff member that had the biggest impact on my life was Ms. Rawlinson. She gave me all the books in a series from her childhood just because I liked one of them."

đź”´ What junior high staff member impacted your life most, and how?
"The junior high staff member who had the biggest impact on my life was my Spanish teacher at Verdigris. Her name was Mrs. Sands, and anyone who goes there will tell you they love her. She was a great teacher and role model to me."

đź”´ What high school staff member made the most significant impact on your life, and how?
"The Claremore High School staff that made the biggest impact on my life was Ms. Golbeck. I had her for two semesters during my 11th grade year, and she extended kindness and understanding to me during a very difficult time."

"AP / Pre-AP Programs, Athletics (please list which one(s) on the 'Other Option' line below.), Chemistry Club, Concurrent, Young Dems, Work Experience / Shadow / Internship (Career Development Program), Track and Cross Country manager, Biomed Club"

đź”´ What is the one thing you will absolutely take with you to college?
"I will absolutely take my independence to college. High school has taught me how to handle things on my own, and moving to Florida, this will be so important."
