"Focusing on school and holding yourself accountable is something that’s more important than I realized."

"Having achieved the status of Salutatorian has shown me that when I push myself, I can do more than I thought I could."
đź”´ What were the hardest challenges you overcame to achieve this honor?
"I've had some classes that required my absolute attention and full effort. That was a challenge to maintain across all my classes."
đź”´ What are you most proud of in your high school career?
"Going to the National Science Bowl last year was an unforgettable experience. I was so proud to represent our school at that level."
đź”´ Looking back on your school experience at CPS, what does being a Zebra mean to you?
"Being a Zebra calls for lifting up others around you and setting an example for the people coming behind you."
đź”´ What elementary staff member impacted your life most, and how?
"Mrs. Toops (Catalayah). Despite not really engaging with school at that age, she always supported me and gave me room to grow."

"Mrs. Shilling (WRJH). Her class helped me build confidence in my public speaking and writing."
đź”´ What high school staff member made the most significant impact on your life, and how?
"I have had many teachers who I would consider mentors and who offered guidance even outside of class. I’m very grateful to all of them."

"Academic Team; AP / Pre-AP Programs; Math Club / Mu Alpha Theta; National Honor Society"

"The National Science Bowl Regional Champions banner from last year."
