"Don't take everything too seriously. Also, don't wear shorts in January."

"This has proven to me that hard work mixed with natural talent can make you excel."

"This proves to me that dedication and strong effort does provide great benefits in the long run."

đź”´ What were the hardest challenges you overcame to achieve this honor?
"I haven't always had the strongest work ethic, so finding out how to manage my time well and how to actually study was quite the hurdle."

đź”´ What are you most proud of in your high school career?
"Using the vending machines to switch from regular to diet soda."

đź”´ Looking back on your school experience at CPS, what does being a Zebra mean to you?
"After recent administrative decisions, not much."

"Mrs. Moseley at Justus-Tiawah, because she was never without a smile, showing me how contagious joy truly is."

"Mrs. Braucher at Justus-Tiawah, because she always treated me as human, showing me the empowerment you get through being seen as a person."

đź”´ What high school staff member made the most significant impact on your life, and how?
"Mrs. Steidley, because through giving a bunch of effort and sacrificing some of her time, she gave me little bits of joy that made my life exponentially better."

"Academic Team; AP / Pre-AP Programs; Choir (Mixed, 701 etc.); Concurrent; Math Club / Mu Alpha Theta; NTC; SkillsUSA; SAGA; Young Dems"

"If we're talking abstractly, I'll take what I've learned about the inherent value of humanity. If we're talking concretely, I'm taking my Vonnegut collection."
