đź”´ What advice would you give your freshman self?
"Don’t procrastinate. You don’t actually do your best work under pressure the night before."

đź”´ Through my journey to becoming a valedictorian,
"As silly as it sounds, I’ve learned to trust and enjoy the process. Along with that, I’ve learned that there’s no point in stressing the little things out of my control."

đź”´ What does this accomplishment mean to you?
"It’s a rewarding feeling to pursue something for several years and accomplish it. Ultimately, it’s a reminder to continue setting goals and work towards them."

đź”´ What were the hardest challenges you overcame to achieve this honor?
"A challenge for me was definitely time management. It’s tricky to find a balance between school, extracurriculars, and a social life."

đź”´ What are you most proud of in your high school career?
"I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve made throughout the last four years and the lessons I’ve learned."

đź”´ Looking back on your school experience at CPS, what does being a Zebra mean to you?
"Being a Zebra means always having a community and support group around you."

đź”´ What elementary staff member impacted your life most, and how?
"Mrs. Hougland was my 3rd grade teacher at Justus-Tiawah. She was one of the first teachers that encouraged and influenced me into liking math."

đź”´ What junior high staff member impacted your life most, and how?
"My Justus 7th grade math teacher, Mrs. Lyons, was super impactful simply because she always went above and beyond. She was always there to lend a helping hand for other classes and went out of her way to make her class/classroom engaging."

đź”´ What high school staff member made the most significant impact on your life, and how?
"It’s almost impossible to pick one person because every teacher has been impactful in one way or another, but Ms. Garroutte sticks out for me. She genuinely cares for her students and finds a way to make difficult subjects comprehendible."

đź”´ What activities have you been involved in?
"AP / Pre-AP Programs; Athletics (Girls Soccer); Chemistry Club; Concurrent; FUZE; Math Club / Mu Alpha Theta; National Honor Society; Work Experience / Shadow / Internship (Career Development Program); Biomed Club"

đź”´ What is the one thing you will absolutely take with you to college?
"The logins to the family streaming service accounts."
