🔴 What advice would you give your freshman self?

"Stay on top of every assignment and event. Plan everything and be prepared. Get involved—do not wait until senior year."

🔴 What has the journey to this honor taught you about yourself?

"This journey has taught me that I am capable of achieving anything I set my mind to through determination and hard work."

🔴 What does this accomplishment mean to you?

"It is a symbol of my determination and hard work. I get to look back on it and remind myself that I can do what I set my mind to do."

🔴 What was the hardest part (challenges) you had to overcome to achieve this honor?

"My tendency to procrastinate."

🔴 What are you most proud of in your high school career?

"Never getting anything below a B on my transcript!"

🔴 Looking back, what does being a Zebra mean to you?

"It means being part of a community. Zebras use their numbers to protect each other. Fun fact: Zebras are actually black with white stripes, and their stripes help regulate temperature!"

🔴 What HIGH SCHOOL staff member made the biggest impact on your life and how?

"Mrs. Shilling—an amazing, patient, and kind teacher who always supported me."

🔴 What is the ONE thing you absolutely take with you to college?

"My laptop that my mom gave me for college!"

"I will miss all of my friends who made waking up early for school worthwhile. Shout out to Addison, Lonnie, Valerie, Taylor, Gavin, and Rosemary!"
