🔴 What advice would you give your freshman self?

"Don't worry about being the best at everything you do. Do things that bring joy to not only yourself, but to others as well."

🔴 What has the journey to this honor taught you about yourself?

"Having fun and making memories is more important than winning and recognition."

🔴 What does this accomplishment mean to you?

"It shows that my hard work over the last 4 years was worth something."

🔴 What was the hardest part (challenges) you had to overcome to achieve this honor?

"Losing block scheduling heavily impacted my senior year, forcing me to take college classes over the summer to be able to graduate without dropping one of my extracurriculars."

🔴 What are you most proud of in your high school career?

"I'm most proud of winning Homecoming King my senior year!!"

🔴 Looking back, what does being a Zebra mean to you?

"It means having a built-in community and support system!"

🔴 What ELEMENTARY staff member made the biggest impact on your life and how?

"Mrs. Kasse, my 4th grade teacher. She really inspired my love for learning, which is still strong today!"

🔴 What JUNIOR HIGH staff member made the biggest impact on your life and how?

"Mr. Isenbart made the biggest impact. He inspired me to be the best version of myself and strive for greatness in everything I do."

🔴 What HIGH SCHOOL staff member made the biggest impact on your life and how?

"Mr. Cummings and Mr. Z had the largest impact on my life out of any teacher(s) I've ever had. They both influenced me to not only be a better student and competitor, but a better human being as well. They provided me with a wonderful example of healthy masculinity to strive toward."

"Academic Team, Band, Choir, Class Officer, Drama, Math Club (Mu Alpha Theta), Robotics, TSA, SkillsUSA, Young Democrats, Concurrent, Marching and Concert Band/Jazz Choir"

"State Champion in Quiz Bowl and Academic Team, 20+ Robotics Awards, and Homecoming King!"

🔴 What is the ONE thing you absolutely take with you to college?

"My stuffed fox backpack named Melon. He's been through so much with me, and he will hopefully continue to be."

🔴 Anything else you'd like to add about your experience at CPS?

"Claremore is the best school district in the state, possibly the country. Not for any flashy awards, fancy facilities, or outstanding achievements, but due to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. I tried very hard to keep block scheduling, a system that helped to make our great school district even greater. However, even after losing block scheduling, our community adapted to make the best of the situation and maintain our standard of excellence. The teachers and students that fill our halls are what makes Claremore the best place to be. No matter who you are, you belong here. As always, it's a great day to be a zebra!"
