🦓🌳 Welcome to Robson Park 🌳🦓
There’s something special about a playground. It’s where friendships are formed, imaginations take off, and kids get to be kids.
At Claremore Public Schools, we’re incredibly proud to open a space that reflects exactly who we are, a true neighborhood school built around community. Our new playground was designed with every student in mind. An inclusive, ADA-accessible space where all students can play, connect, and feel like they belong.
From interactive puzzles and sensory features to climbing areas and multiple slides, there’s something here for everyone. And if you make your way to the top, you’ll see just how big this space really is… and just how big the opportunities are for our students.
This didn’t happen overnight. It took a village, site and district funds, PTO support, private donations, and special education funding, all coming together to create something meaningful. It’s a reflection of what happens when a community invests in its kids.
Many of us remember what used to be here, simpler structures, smaller spaces, but now, alongside those memories, we have something new. A playground that continues to grow with our students and meet a wide range of needs and abilities.
We’ve named it Robson Park, in honor of Frank Robson, whose commitment to education has left a lasting impact on Claremore Public Schools. He and his sister attended Claremont as children, making this tribute especially meaningful. His continued investment in our schools reflects an aligned mission and belief that strong schools build strong communities.
Because at the end of the day, strong schools build strong communities… and this is a place where both can grow.
