❤🦓🎓COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION - 13 Days Brought to you by the Fosters!
Mrs. Jenni Foster, a Computer Science teacher at Roosa Elementary, has been part of Claremore Public Schools for 10 years and has had the special opportunity to watch her daughter, Amaeli Foster, grow throughout her journey as a Zebra. Amaeli also carries on a strong family legacy, with her father, Brent, a CHS graduate from the Class of 1998.
A Zebra since Pre-K, Amaeli has attended Roosa, Will Rogers Junior High, and Claremore High School. During her time at CPS, she has been actively involved in AP and Pre-AP programs, Concurrent classes, FCA, Native American Student Association, National Honor Society, Student Council, ZUAC, Softball, and Tennis.
Reflecting on her time at CPS, Amaeli shares, “I will remember the teachers who made such a big impact on who I am today and who made every day special.”
One of Amaeli’s favorite memories with her mom is a fun moment on the court. “The teacher-student tennis tournament was one of my favorites. Getting to partner with my mom made it even more special.”
Jenni reflects on Amaeli’s journey, saying, “Some of my most cherished memories are watching her play softball and grow as both a leader and teammate. I’ve also loved seeing her confidence grow as she discovered tennis. From her early days at Roosa to now, it has been so special to watch her find her passions and become who she is today.”
When asked about educators who made a lasting impact, Jenni shared, “Mrs. Devers made a meaningful impact during Amaeli’s time at Roosa, building a strong connection that we still talk about. More recently, Mr. Riggs has inspired her interest in the medical field and helped shape her future goals.”
She adds, “This journey has been incredibly special, from her early elementary years to now. It’s hard to believe how quickly it has all gone, and while it’s bittersweet, I’m so proud of who she has become.”
From strong relationships to athletic and academic success, Amaeli’s journey reflects the opportunities and connections that define Claremore Public Schools.
It has been a meaningful and memorable journey for Amaeli as a proud Zebra! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
