Ask Mrs. Nicole Griffin, a para at Catalayah Elementary School, if she has been everywhere, and she will say, "not yet!" The Griffins are on a mission to see all 33 Oklahoma State parks. This week, she and her family visited four in western Oklahoma. Ethan, a 2nd grader and Madelyn, in PreK at Catalayah, sported their #CPSZEBRAPRIDE for our #ZebraTravelDiaries. This past week they visited: 🗺 Little Sahara State Park, where they saw people on ATVs playing in the dunes, 🗺 Alabaster Caverns State Park, where they got to go in the cave and see lots of bats up close, 🗺 Boiling Springs State Park, where they saw natural springs bubbling out of the ground and lots of wildlife while hiking, and 🗺 Roman Nose State Park, where they did more hiking. They have now seen 17 state parks and say it is a wonderful way to see Oklahoma's different terrain and beauty.

Avoid No-Credit College Courses No-credit courses, also called remedial courses, are classes based on college entrance exam scores that students must take to build skills – most often in reading, English and math – before they are allowed to take regular college classes. These courses are designed to improve skills, fill in gaps, or help students gain proficiency in these subjects. Some students may be required to take remedial courses in a single area or several areas. For more information, check out our video: https://youtu.be/KQrGcpwQ_j8
