Homecoming Representatives 2024🦓 This year, 81 students were selected to represent their club, sport, or organization during homecoming. This week, we will introduce you to our 2024 Homecoming Representatives. 🦓❤👑 🦓Zen Hatlang Representing: World Language Club Other student activities involved in: SAGA, Biomed, and Young Dems What are your future plans? “My post-secondary plans are to complete cosmetology school pursuing Fashion Design/Business.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part about being a Zebra is creating genuine connections with other students and seeing the impact I leave on those around me.” 🦓Caden Kreps Representing: Dead Poets Society Other student activities involved in: Skills USA, NHS, Academic Team, Art club, Drama, Young Democrats, and SAGA What are your future plans? “I plan to become a Chemical Engineer. I am undecided on college choice.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “Being a part of performances in the theater department and competing in academic team.” 🦓 Ember Shultz Representing: Improv Other student activities involved in: S.A.D.D, SAGA, Drama, Yearbook, Pre-Engineering, Dinosaur Club, Skills USA, FCCLA, and Chemistry Club What are your future plans? “I plan on going to OSU for aerospace mechanical engineering.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part of being a Zebra is the amazing teachers that have helped me become the best student I could be. Without them, I wouldn't be where I am today.” 🦓Noah Pennell Representing: Improv Other student activities involved in: SAGA, FCCLA, SADD, Chemistry, SkillsUSA, Dead Poets Soiciety, and Dinosaur Club What are your future plans? “I will be going to OSU and majoring in Elementary Education and getting a job as an Art/Theather teacher. What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part about being a Zebra is definitely all of the extracurricular activities that the school offers. During those I have met so many amazing peers and have gotten myself involved with clubs such as improv, SAGA and SADD.” #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

This week, we will introduce you to our 2024 Homecoming Representatives. 🦓❤👑 🦓Julie Jones Representing: Art Club What are your future plans? “I plan to go to NSU and get a degree in psychology and study art on the side.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part about being a Zebra is the positivity around me, the way others, including me, can spread positivity and embrace ourselves. 🦓 Cambree Marie Simpson Representing: Fuze Other student activities involved in: StuCo, NHS, and Biomed club What are your future plans? “After I graduate, I plan to go to college and major in Pharmacology.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part about being a Zebra is our school and beating Pryor.” 🦓 Summer Pfeiffer Representing: Swimming Other student activities involved in StuCo, Fuze, AECC, Student Against Destructive Decisions, World Language Club, Red Army, Tennis Manager, and Biomed Club.” What are your future plans? “My future goal is to be a college athlete and continue my education in health sciences.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part about being a Zebra is the community we have. Being involved with these clubs allows people to build interests, skills, and relationships.” 🦓 Ella Ramsey Representing: Volleyball Other student activities involved in: Biomed club, StuCo, Club Volleyball, and Tennis. What are your future plans? “I will become a Medical Dosimetrist.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part about being a Zebra is the athletic and academic opportunities we can have compared to other schools.” #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🎖Patriotic 🎖Courage 🎖Sacrifice 🎖Duty 🎖Loyalty 🎖Honor 🎖Valor🎖 Claremore High School's Navy Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NJROTC), under the leadership of Colonel John Rahe, Retired Marine Corps, hosted the annual Patriot Day Ceremony to commemorate the tragic events of September 11, 2001. This special event honors the heroes who served in the aftermath and remembers those who lost their lives on that fateful day. The ceremony occurs at Claremore High School’s historic Lantow Field, named after the Lantow brothers, local heroes who served our nation with valor. Lantow Field, a hallowed ground in Claremore, is named in honor of the Lantow brothers, two of whom made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in Europe in 1944. A third brother, who also served, was called back to complete his service stateside after the tragic loss of his siblings in combat. Their legacy is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by those in our community who have answered the call to serve. Claremore Public Schools is committed to fostering a sense of unity, honor, courage, sacrifice, duty, loyalty, bravery, and patriotism within our community. This Patriot Day Ceremony is a testament to our dedication to keeping the memory of 9/11 alive and ensure the sacrifices of those who served, those who lost their lives, and those who continue to serve are remembered. Claremore Public Schools will never forget.💙🦓🎖

It helps give a sense of belonging; there is something for everyone. It's a great way to be involved in the school, meet new people, and find your niche.” 🦓 Rosemary Jones Representing: Technology Student Association Other student activities involved in: Band, Chemistry Club, Biomed Club, Christian Club, Tulsa Diocesan Youth Senate What are your future plans? “After high school, I plan on majoring in political science and eventually become an attorney.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part about being a student at our school is the incredible sense of community and the opportunities we have to grow as leaders and individuals.” 🦓 Addison Holmes Representing: SAGA Club Other student activities involved in: Art Club and Color/Winter Guard with the Band What are your future plans? Cosmetology What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “All the elective opportunities available to us.” 🦓 Emma Robinson Representing: Cross Country Other student activities involved in: Track and Field What are your future plans? “I plan to become a sports medicine physician.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite thing about being a zebra is the school spirit. This school takes pride in being a zebra, and I love that. We are all proud to be a zebra when it comes to pep rallies or football games.” #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Congratulations to Emma Robinson & Gabriel Rodriguez, who are now two of the fastest runners in Claremore High School history! Following their cross-country meet last week, Emma Robinson ran an 18.21, marking her as the second-fastest female runner in CHS history! Join us at Claremore Public Schools for the Patriot Day Ceremony, a tradition dating back to 2006, and invites the entire student body, community members, and distinguished guests to join together in paying tribute to those impacted by the events of 9/11. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's in Physical Education/Health. This is his first year teaching as a Zebra, but he has been teaching for 13 years! After that, I plan on doing military from their college ROTC program.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part about being a zebra is the teachers. Having a good teacher is the difference between passing or failing a class. I would say the ones I enjoyed the most would be Mr. Noland, Mrs. Lahr, Mrs. Grubbs, Mrs. Huddleston, Colonel Rahe, and Mrs. Hernandez.” 🦓 Kennedy Freeman Representing: Biomedical Club Other student activities involved in: Soccer, FUZE, and Jesus Club What are your future plans? “I plan on attending college and getting a degree to be an Occupational Therapist.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part about being a Zebra is growing up in a kind, supportive environment, with help every step of the way.” 🦓 Brayden Frederick Representing: Christian Club Other student activities involved in: Cross Country, NHS, Art Club, SkillsUSA, NASA What are your future plans? “I plan to attend LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, and get a Masters in Mechanical Engineering.” What is your favorite part about being a Zebra? “My favorite part is the amount of organizations and classes you can be a part of.” 🦓 Alyssa Brooks Representing: Dungeons and Dragons Other student activities involved in: Art Club What are your future plans?
