WRJH Physical Science students went on an exciting journey of discovery as they experimented with different colors of light! 💡 With their 'laser fingers', they used the colors to make white light and see the interactions of the different wavelengths! Catalayah had some 4th and 5th grade students travel to Inola to compete in the Battle of the Brains!!! 🧠 Many of our bright zebra kiddos placed and brought home ribbons - representing their #CPSZEBRAPRIDE! 🏆♥🦓

💙💙🩷🩷🩷 Looks like the lady Zebras have taken the lead in the Zebra Dazzle. Meet the newest little Zebra, Miss Blakely James! She is the daughter of two of our Claremore Public School employees, Nurse Kyla at Claremont Elementary and her husband, David, a teacher at Roosa Elementary. Blakely was born on March 15th - just in time for spring break. She weighed 6 lbs 10 oz and measured 18" long. She will be well taken care of by her two big sisters, Avery Grace and Harper Jo. Mrs. Hammack's class got some exercise and sunshine walking to the Claremore Public Library - exploring the magical world of books and the joy of reading! Going to the library as a class allows students to connect over books, share stories, and even engage in a friendly competition to see who can read the most books! 📕🦓 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Kicking off our 2024 #ZebraTravelDiaries is the Williams Family in Paris! 🦓📕 Charli and Rori had a pre-break vacation in Paris, France! While there, they had a blast visiting several famous landmarks and museums that the city is known for! At Will Rogers Junior High, Mrs. Hammack's class is getting a real-life science lesson! They examined owl pellets and matched bones to the animals they came from. It takes patience, attention to detail, and critical thinking to piece together the puzzle- but how rewarding when they figure it out!
