🦓🚗 #ZebraTravelDiaries The Gonzalez family, led by Kristin Gonzalez (CHS Spanish teacher), packed up their Zebra spirit and hit the road for an epic summer adventure! Along with her husband and four kids, Keziah (9th, CHS), Elianna (7th, WRJH), Gabriela (5th, Roosa), and Josiah (3rd, Roosa), they traveled through seven states: Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and Kansas! 🌄📍 Highlights of their journey included visiting friends in New Mexico, taking in the breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, attending a church convention, and stopping by the Great Salt Lake in Utah. 🎭 Elementary Students Take a Stand with Tulsa Opera! 🎶 All four Claremore elementary schools had the exciting opportunity to attend a special performance of "Stop, Bully!", thanks to a generous grant from the Claremore Public Schools Foundation! This powerful performance by Tulsa Opera helped reinforce important lessons about friendship, teamwork, and self-confidence in a fun and meaningful way. 💛👏 Thank you to CPS Foundation for making this memorable experience possible! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🌱 A big thank you to the Master Gardeners who visited our K–2 students at Claremont Elementary! 🌼 They shared their knowledge on plants, gardening, and how to grow amazing things from the ground up. Our students were all smiles as they got their hands dirty and learned what it takes to be a great gardener! 🌿🌻 We were grateful for this fun, hands-on experience from the school year. It left our young Zebras inspired and ready to grow! 🌞💧 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🏫 Six weeks from today, we will welcome all our students back into our halls! Although we are enjoying the opportunity to recharge, we have not stopped planning. 🐮🤼‍♂️ From the Roosa Wax Museum to the OSU wrestling room! Roosa student Frazier Marler caught the attention of OSU Cowboy wrestler Wyatt Hendrickson after dressing up as him for the Wax Museum, and his tribute quickly gained traction on social media.

Wyatt, one of the most dominant wrestlers in the country, didn’t just notice; he invited Frazier to visit OSU for an unforgettable experience! Frazier got a tour of the wrestling facilities, some Cowboy gear, and memories to last a lifetime.

Hendrickson, a 2-time NCAA All-American, 2024 NCAA finalist, and Big 12 Champion, recently transferred to OSU after a standout career at Air Force, where he was also named the NCAA’s Most Dominant Wrestler in 2022 and 2023. Known for his power and pinning ability, he now brings his grit to Cowboy country, and he showed that same heart by making a young Zebra’s day one to remember.

What started as a fun school project became a moment of connection, inspiration, and Cowboy kindness! 🦓🤠

🌟 WE'VE GOT TALENT!🌟 This year’s Talent Show was an absolute hit! From powerhouse vocals 🎤 and show-stopping dance moves 💃🕺 to laugh-out-loud skits 🎭, our students lit up the stage with creativity and confidence. 🔬🐾 This week, we're throwing it back to Zoology class, where CHS students wrapped up a semester of scientific discovery with hands-on dissections! From external features to internal systems, they explored the complexity of animal anatomy and applied their classroom knowledge in a real-world context. 🎓 Future Friday 🏫💰 Congratulations to MacKenzie Bacon, recipient of the $2,000 Mosier Scholarship! This award honors her achievements as a Zebra athlete and will support her next chapter at Rogers State University. The Mosier Scholarship was created in memory of Doug K. Mosier (Dougie), Claremore Zebra Athletics' #1 fan. His legacy of unwavering school spirit continues to inspire and support future generations of athletes. 💼 CHS Leaders Shine at CTU! 💼 Three of our amazing CHS students had the incredible opportunity to attend Career Tech University (CTU)—a powerhouse leadership camp uniting state officers from all 7 CTSOs: FFA, TSA, SkillsUSA, DECA, BPA, HOSA, and FCCLA! 🙌 They spent the week sharpening their leadership skills, tackling team-building challenges, and connecting with fellow student leaders from across Oklahoma.
