Let’s welcome Ms. Allie Dooley back to the Zebra family in today’s New Teacher Feature! Ms. Dooley is a 6th-grade science teacher and Claremore alum! She graduated from CHS in 2017 and chose CPS to start her teaching career! While in school she was a cheerleader from 6th grade - 12th grade. She graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelors in Science, and was a Delta Zeta! When asked what she likes about Claremore Public Schools best, she said, “I chose to teach at CPS because I loved it so much when I was a student here! I loved being a zebra and feel like I got the best education possible. I knew that my teachers truly cared for me and wanted me to succeed, and I want to be able to do that for my students! I just moved back to Claremore for the first time in 6 years, so I’m excited to get more involved in the community! ” She chose teaching because “I want to share my love for my subject with my students. At an early age, having teachers here at CPS who were passionate about their chosen subjects made class and learning much more enjoyable and fun! I think it’s so important for students to understand and appreciate science because the whole world around us is made up of it!” Ms. Dooley enjoys anything outdoors, whether hiking, golf, camping, gardening or even walking on a nice day. She also loves crafting and making things for others! She has been to 30 states and plans to check the last 20 off her list. She also wants to visit every National Park! 📚: Harry Potter or any thriller! 📽: Stick It! 🍽: Any chip or Gardetto’s 🍬: Mini sour starbursts 🥤: Juice or orange body armor 🌈: Blue and yellow 📍 : Anywhere with mountains or beaches! 📝: “Fear is just a lack of knowledge.” Welcome back to the Claremore Zebra Dazzle, Ms. Allie Dooley!
