Mrs. T's GT students took their math skills to the next level with the colorful and brain-boosting game, Prime Climb! After watching a tutorial from one of the game’s creators, Dan Finkel, students jumped into the action, using strategy and arithmetic to make their moves.
With a larger-than-usual 4th-grade class, they also brought out a crowd favorite, Blokus, to keep the logic flowing and the competition friendly! ♟️
It was a day packed with critical thinking, teamwork, and fun, proving that learning can be both challenging and exciting.

Our Westside Elementary 5th grade students had an unforgettable experience at the Link Up Concert with the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra at the Owasso Performing Arts Center!

🥈 Winterguard Shines at State Championships! 🥈
Claremore Winterguard delivered an outstanding performance at the WGPO State Championships this past weekend in Yukon, OK. For their show, Table for Two, they earned 2nd place in the Scholastic Regional B class!
Adding to the celebration, Coach Liezel Spinks was honored as Director of the Year, and the team was recognized with the Sportsmanship Award, showcasing their talent and character.
This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication, artistry, and teamwork of our Winterguard. Congratulations to all! 🏆🎭✨

At Claremore High School and Junior High, our NJROTC cadets are more than students. They are leaders in service who embody our core values of community and purpose daily. This year alone, they have dedicated an outstanding 3,377 hours to improving our school and community! 💪🏼🦓

🔋💡 Lighting Up Learning in Ms. Lopez’s Class! ⚡️
At Catalayah Elementary, Ms. Lopez’s students took science to the next level with a hands-on lesson in electricity! They built simple circuits by connecting wires from a battery to a light bulb, exploring how electric current flows through a closed loop.
Through this fun and engaging activity, students discovered how conductors like metal wires help transfer energy and what happens when a circuit is broken.

📚🧈 A Buttery Fun Read Across America Celebration! 🎉
Mrs. Eckert’s kindergarten class at Westside Elementary celebrated reading with a fun and tasty Seuss-inspired activity!
After reading The Butter Battle Book by Dr. Seuss, students rolled up their sleeves and made their own butter using heavy whipping cream and a whole lot of shaking! 💪 Once it was ready, they spread it on bread for a delicious homemade treat they created all by themselves. 🍞🧈 #CPSZebraPride

Exploring Native American History & Art 🎨
The Westside Elementary Native American Club, with Mr. McClurg, has dove into the rich history, traditions, and art forms of various tribes. 🌎✨
Recently, students created necklaces inspired by Mississippian gorgets, symbols of status, fashion, and cultural expression. The Mississippians, who settled along the Mississippi River, built mounds for homes and thrived through trade.
