🎭🎶🎨 What a blast we had at our Fine Arts Pep Rally for our soon-to-be 6th graders! 🎉 Our Room 701 Vocal Jazz students kicked things off by greeting our 5th graders at the door with smiles and style, setting the tone for an afternoon full of positivity and fun! 🎤✨ High school theatre students had everyone laughing with improv games, the jazz band brought the energy, and Vocal Jazz took the stage for an awesome performance. 🎷🎶 Our visual arts students and teachers showed off incredible artwork and shared all the amazing creative opportunities ahead. To top it all off, we got a surprise sneak peek at The Addams Family musical! 👀💀 We loved giving our 5th graders a taste of what’s to come in junior high Fine Arts, the fun is just getting started! 🎉 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🍕➗ Fraction Fun at Roosa! 🧮✨ At Roosa Elementary, students built their Fraction Pizzas, adding toppings and writing the fraction to represent each new slice. It was a hands-on, delicious way to practice fractions and bring math to life! Fantastic job to these young mathematicians for turning learning into a tasty success! 👏🍽️ #RoosaRocks #CPSZebraPride

At Catalayah Elementary, Mrs. Roller’s students have welcomed some tiny new classmates, caterpillars! 🐛❤️ The students have carefully chosen names for each one, giving them lots of love and care as they grow. Soon, these little crawlers will transform into beautiful butterflies, and the class can’t wait to release them onto our playground! 🦋🌿 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🎶 Room 701 Vocal Jazz Choir Takes the Stage at SNU Festival! 🎤🎼 On April 7, the Room 701 Vocal Jazz Choir traveled to Oklahoma City to participate in the Southern Nazarene University Vocal Jazz Festival! Our talented students performed alongside high school vocal jazz choirs from across Oklahoma, had the incredible opportunity to experience a professional recording session, and participated in a masterclass led by internationally recognized musician and educator, Vijay Singh. 🎵 About Vijay Singh: A renowned composer, arranger, and bass-baritone soloist, Singh has over 170 published works and has collaborated with musical legends such as the Robert Shaw Chorale and David Byrne (Talking Heads). As a professor at Central Washington University, he has guided countless student ensembles to perform on national stages and is a passionate advocate for music education across the country. Learning from such a distinguished figure in the world of vocal jazz was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students, who continue to shine with their passion, talent, and hard work. 👏 Way to go, Room 701, you represented Claremore with style, skill, and spirit! #CPSZebraPride

🚨 LADY ZEBRAS ON A ROLL! ⚽🦓 Last Friday, our CHS Lady Zebras won a huge upset, taking down #1-ranked Booker T. Washington in a double-overtime battle that ended in penalty kicks.
