KIDS EAT FREE STARTS NEXT WEEK June 2nd - August 1st Everyone 18 and Under In conjunction with the USDA Seamless Summer Program, the CPS Child Nutrition Department will continue to offer FREE MEALS for students 18 and under this summer.​ The initiative of offering free meals to kids 18 years old and under during summer through Claremore Public Schools is crucial in addressing food insecurity and providing access to nutritious meals. During the summer break, numerous families find it challenging to provide regular meals, making this program essential in bridging the gap and ensuring that no child goes hungry. Moreover, providing healthy meals promotes children's overall health and well-being, positively impacting their academic and personal success. Our FFA students were proudly recognized at the Oklahoma FFA State Convention this past week, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate their incredible achievements! Before heading to convention, the chapter came together for an End-of-Year Celebration to honor their hard work, dedication, and all they’ve accomplished this year and they gave us plenty to cheer about! 🏆 State Champs! Our Ag Communications team brought home the State Championship trophy! 🎉 Team Members: McKenzie Boyer, Addison Duvall, Meadow Hiner, and Halley Reed • Addison – 1st Place High Individual + $1,000 Scholarship • Meadow – 2nd Place High Individual 🎓 State FFA Degrees – One of the highest honors an FFA member can earn, and FIVE of our members achieved it: Grace Burns, Meadow Hiner, Makinzee Joslin, Halley Reed, and Westin Watkins 👏 🎟️ WLC Scholarship – McKenzie Boyer earned a $1,500 scholarship to attend the Washington Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. this summer! 📘 Career Passports Earned!
