It included several days in Athens and then a 7-day cruise of the Greek Islands! Mrs. Renee Bransetter, a CHS teacher, took her #CPSZEBRAPRIDE to Anchorage, AK, to visit her daughter and son-in-law. They traveled north to Talkeetna, AK, where she was able to take the pic of Mt. Denali; Hatcher Pass to Independence Mine (gold mine); Soldotna to salmon fish on the Kenai River; and finally to Homer, ferried across Kachemak Bay to Seldovia. Hiking on Matanuska Glacier was epic and her favorite part of the trip.

It's been a weekend of surprises, inspiration, learning and fellowship for our very own Mrs. Michelle Rahn. Nominated by CHS Alum and future teacher Ashley Henry, Mrs. Rahn was honored as the NASA Oklahoma Space Grant Consortium Educator of the Year! After the celebration, she went right back to work learning with her Smithsonian Teacher Innovator Institute, "OklaHomies"! The real trophy will be the museum-grade astronaut suit she will receive to display in her classroom for the coming year & a $3000 grant for STEM supplies. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
