Our NJROTC Corps of Cadets supported the Reveille Rotary Club of Claremore with their blood drive honoring Commander Estabrook. While there Jim Scantlin presented a donation of $500 to the Claremore NROTC unit. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

We are proud to introduce Westside's fundraising royalty! Our top sellers were Brennan Sather, who raised $1,628, and Finley Faulconer, who raised $3,174! Not only do these students raise money for the school they are also learning presentation skills. All proceeds go towards the new playground we are hoping to purchase next spring. CHS's DRUG-FREE LOOKS LIKE ME theme today was "Anything But Drugs," and to get their point across, students had to bring all their school books & supplies in "anything but a backpack." First grade students learned about and celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by stirring the "chocolate" to the beat in "Bate, Bate, Chocolate," a traditional children's rhyme. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Before introducing slope, Mrs. Litterell's class did a ball drop activity to engage her student's curiosity about the subject. This learning activity allows students to discover through experiments what slope means and how to find it. Students will better understand slope after performing the ball drop activity. 🍎🍏 Apples 🍎🍏 Kindergarten weighed and tasted their favorite apples. They used STEM principles to build an apple tree. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
