Professionals day to recognize the technical experts — network engineers, system administrators, database admins, ethical hackers, and many more types of I.T. professionals — that make sure our computer systems run smoothly. It takes a solid set of skills and talents to fill the shoes of an I.T. pro so, today, we say thanks to the people who come to fix our devices when they stop working the way they should — the behind-the-scenes operators. Attend the University of the Ozarks or Oral Roberts University and study Biology/ Pre-med and go into Medical School. Favorite part of being a Zebra? Jack Staton Representing: Improv Other student activities involved: Dead poets, Theater Production, and Advanced Drama. What are your future plans? Go to college in Missouri and help build, run, and participate in a theater company with my friend and partner. Favorite part of being a Zebra? 📚Books! Books! Books! 📚 So many books in the library! The library is a place where students can choose books from different genres. Learning about places far and near can be found by turning the pages of a book! 1st graders stopped by the library to choose their favorite library book. Reading is a great way to ignite creativity and sparks curiosity! Set a good example and read a book to your child. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

After reading "Clark the Shark", Ms. Brown's second grade students had a very cool surprise. Cameron University student teacher Lindsey Guercio, helped extend their learning while talking about sharks. Ms. Guercio brought the skeleton of a juvenile bull shark. Happy Birthday to the United States Air Force Although the U.S. Military purchased its first aircraft in 1909, the United States Air Force was not a stand-alone entity until 1947. World War II proved the power of militarized aircraft and led to a change in the basic organization of U.S. Military Forces. In 1947, President Truman signed the National Security Act, establishing the Air Force as an independent service, equal to the U.S. Army and US Navy. With nearly 6,000 aircraft, the U.S. Air Force is the largest air force in the world. More than half a million Americans serve in the Air Force — the second-largest branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. Today is Constitution Day! This federal holiday aims to recognize the adoption of the United States Constitution, and to instill a national culture of education on the topic. The holiday celebrates those who, by any means, have become citizens of the United States of America. As such, the formal name of the holiday has been updated to Constitution Day and Citizenship Day (2004) . Constitution Day occurs each year on September 17 — the day that delegates to the Constitutional Convention in 1787 (Philadelphia) signed the document.
